DIRECTOR - Pepe Jon Chavez
Pepe Jon Chavez (Lima, Peru / U.S. West Coast)
Director of “Happy Feet” Complete Soccer Education!!!

Pepe Jon, 34, is currently the Head Coach of the Men’s and
Women’s Soccer Programs at Bethel University where he has
served for 8 years.  He has in the past trained with Seattle and
internationally in Peru and Mexico.  With 24 years playing
experience he has coached players of all ages and skill levels
including a 2005 U-16 STATE Cup Championship, 05, 06 U-17, 08
U-19  USA Cup Championships, and 2 consecutive boys U-19
STATE Championships in Seattle, WA.  Highly enthusiastic and
fun, his passion for the game brings out the best in players of all
ages and skill levels.  He and his wife Rachael live in Plymouth
with their 3 daughters Arabella, Arria Marie, and Amira.
CO-DIRECTOR - Rachael Chavez
Rachael Chavez, 27, Is currently the assistant coach for the
Women's soccer program for Bethel University, where she has
been for 6 years. Holds scoring records at both Wayzata high
school where she was the leading goal scorer as well as at the
University of Minnesota. While playing at the U of M she earned
All-Big Ten honors and was 2nd in goals scored in the Big-Ten
conference for the 2002 season for which she was named the
Gophers M.V.P. Rachael has been coaching players of all ages
and skill levels for the past 7 years. She has in the past served 2
years as the assistant varsity coach at Wayzata high school. She
also has trained and coached a Wayzata U-18 Premier team for
the last 2 years. She and her husband, Pepe Jon, daughters
Arabella, Arria Marie, and Amira live in Plymouth.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - Ryan McKellips
Ryan McKellips a recent Bethel University graduate with a degree
in business finance, and is in his 2nd year of being an assistant
coach for the Men's program for Bethel University.  Ryan enters
his 5th. Year of coaching for “Happy Feet” after playing 4 years at
Bethel where he was a captain.  He is currently the head coach of
the Arsenal Super Eagles U18 team and has a big heart for the
kids.  He is a very enthusiastic coach who loves the game of
soccer.  Working with both boys and girls of all ages and skill
levels he has trained and coached several successful teams
throughout Minnesota.
TRAINER- Dave Swenson
David is a junior at Bethel and plays for the Men's soccer
program.  He graduated from Blaine High School making two
state tournament appearances.  He has been involved with
"Happy Feet" for nearly a decade and has been a coach for 5
years.  His experience, passion and knowledge of the game is
something to be shared with kids of all ages and levels.

Brandon Peplinski, known as "Pep" to his teammates and
coaches, grew up in Maple Grove, MN where he played
Maplebrook Blast premier soccer and also played for Maple
Grove Senior High School. He has played every position except
goalkeeper over his soccer career, and since high school he has
enjoyed training, coaching, and evaluating youth soccer off and
on. Currently he is studying physics and Spanish at Bethel
University and is a striker on the Bethel Royals soccer team
under Coach Chavez..
TRAINER- Brandon Peplinski
TRAINER- Will Pearce
William Pearce,21, is from Europe and has lived and played in a
number of places including, England, Greece, Switzerland, and
America. He currently attends Bethel University and studies
International Relations, Political Science, and Coaching. He has
played for European clubs, Fairford FC, and FC Paradiso, he has
played in Kentucky for Franklin-Simpson High School where he
helped them win 4 district titles, and for the SKY club team,
where he helped them win state his freshman year. He currently
plays under Pepe Jon Chavez at Bethel University, it is his
second year in the program. He is the assistant coach for the
Minnesota Thunder Academies U-14 premier boys team, Head
coach for the Rebels Soccer U-16 Girls team, and trains other
teams throughout the area.
